Dorothea Schubert is a freelance graphic designer and contemporary photographer (mostly analogue) based in Freiburg, Germany.

She works interdisciplinary in the field of visual communication, contemporary photography and art education.

Dorothea works as a teacher of Editorial Design and Printmedia  at Macromedia University of Applied Arts in Freiburg and has a lectureship for Photography / New Media at PH Freiburg (University of Education).

Since 09/24 she is working at the Akademie für Kommunikation Freiburg in the field of Photomedia.

Dorothea Schubert ist eine freiberufliche Dipl. Grafik-Designerin und Künstlerin im Bereich Fotografie in Freiburg.

Sie arbeitet interdisziplinär in den Bereichen der visuellen Kommunikation, zeitgenössischer Fotografie und der Vermittlung von Design und Bildender Kunst.

Sie ist Lehrbeauftrage für Kommunikationsdesign und Printmedien an der Macromedia Hochschule Freiburg. 

Seit 2019 Lehrbeauftrage für Fotografie / new Media am Institut der Bildenden Künste der PH Freiburg.

Seit 2024 ist sie als Dozentin an der Akademie für Kommunikation Freiburg im Bereich Fotomedien tätig.
